Once in a while I thought it would be acceptable to draw something slightly suggestive in Claire, my blue hardback sketchbook, simply because I felt like it (mainly because life drawing sessions at school aren’t “spicy” enough for my taste). So I did a portrait of a Korean race queen and model, Heo Yun-Mi. (I reckon you get shot if you dressed like that in North Korea.)
The drawing took me an hour or two. I tried to cut down the harsh lines and focus more on the tone of her clothes and body, which I think might be a great improvement compared to previous works which are more or less line-heavy (and considering the reduced amount of time invested on this). You might see some weird marks on the portrait, that might be due to me drawing too hard on the other side which made the marks. I apologise for that.
This is her blog if you are interested in her: http://cafe.daum.net/s-yunmi
And finally here’s the original photo I based on for this drawing:
